We have been blessed with the opportunity to purchase a small church in Barling, AR following the decision by the church to no longer meet as a congregation. The property is located at 1405 G Street, Barling, AR. It is approximately 6200 square feet and already contains much of what we envisioned in Colley Carehouse. It is conveniently located in Barling off Fort Street/Hwy22 in a small quiet neighborhood.
We have obtained Risley Architects and Managing Partner Rett Howard has offered to join our effort by offering his services to make our dream become a reality. The remaining church trustees have accepted our offer of $250,000 for their property and they have given us until January 31, 2026 to raise the funds to close on the property.
It has been estimated that the remodel project will cost $100,000 for a total cost of roughly $350,000. We have already replaced the roof of the building with a wonderful contribution from Elite Roofing in Fort Smith. This initial investment in our community will only be $56.45/square foot. There is no possible way we could ever obtain this type of property at this price point.
